We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Very clean, gives just enough color. the transition between gray scale to full color is well done.

What is the problem with the text you mention? If you go into more detail I can fix it, or perhaps I've missed something obvious.
One of the directors did the logo, so I think he's happy with it how it is. It ties in with a re-branded Atelier logo as well, so I don't think its open to change right now
